I was lured here through their Instagram post of the donut, mind you, they are in the middle of CBD, but to me it's like a hidden gem, didn't really notice this place but so glad we did! They have a big range of options in their cabinet, and my eyes popped when I saw the cronut! They also do a very good carrot cake, you can see all the shredded carrots inside, it was very fluffy and not sickly, just the right amount of cream cheese icing on top! For drinks, we were recommended the limited edition drink of the matcha Sprite, which has a nice little matcha flavor and the sparklyness of the soda. I was keen on the Ube/taro drink, which was super creamy and a very fragrant uber flavour coming through. For mains, we could not decide which we liked more, but the garlic cream cheese with a hint of sweetness and savory oozing out of the super crispy croissant won my heart, my fellow foodies loved the bacon pasta, it had a beautiful flavour, and the pasta and the sauce were both made in house! The bagel was also well liked by the table! We were also recommended the tiramisu iced chocolate, and the tiramisu had a very nice coffee flavour, it's super creamy and decadent! It's not a drink, it's a dessert in itself! The cronut was also very flaky, ticked all my boxes, and for anyone who likes cinnamon scrolls, I think their Biscoff pinwheel would not disappoint! Another cool lunch place in CBD added to our list! They are only open Monday to Fridays but from 6am to 3pm, so easily a breakfast/brunch/lunch/afternoon place, or as a treat at work!
My colleague and I have been coming to Extra Extra for our daily coffee fix for many years. Through the many staff that have attended to us over this time we have always been warmly welcomed and made to feel valued. Thanks Jessica, Kaylie and Courtney from the current team. Today Kaylie put a big J in my latte art
What a treasure! The food was amazing - I had eggs Benedict with mushrooms and salmon. The cabinet food looked delicious. The atmosphere was lovely, puzzles to do while you wait, magazines aplenty, coffee table books and gorgeous spaces - tables and chairs, booths, high counter seats, boardroom and lounge - a space for all tastes. Thank you for a wonderful experience
I recently visited Extra Extracafe and was genuinely impressed. The coffee was rich and flavorful, brewed to perfection, and the food was equally delightful—fresh, well-prepared, and full of taste. The atmosphere was welcoming, and the staff made the experience even better with their friendly and attentive service. A great spot for both a quick coffee break and a relaxed meal. Highly recommended!
I own a coffee shop in Trinidad, Colorado, USA. One of my customers, who is from Wellington, told me I had to stop here on my trip. What a great recommendation! The coffee and service was excellent. As well as the cheese scones and donuts!
Never usually go to this cafe, but I've always wanted to try their food as it looks divine. Went there on a Thurs where they had lots of donuts on display. I tried the salted caramel filled doughnut. A- MAZING! Very generous filling, beautifully soft and fresh, and not too sweet. Not cheap at $8 each, but it was worth it. They also had a biscoff filling option, which I'll have to try another day. The lady behind the counter was also super friendly.
Nice place but the food has changed since some reviewers photos on Google Maps. Specifically the eggs - no sausages, no ciabatta, no tomato and no hash browns!
Hidden cafe but I was impressed on how well set up this cafe was. Another cafe to go for coffee or lunch. Variety of lovely cabinet food
